Abrar-ul-Haq is a Pakistani pop and bhangra singer-songwriter whose 1995 debut Billo De Ghar made him one of South Asia's best-selling artists. Away from music he chairs the Sahara for Life Trust and has served as chairman of the Pakistan Red Crescent Society, and he made two unsuccessful runs for Pakistan's National Assembly. He remains a fixture of Punjabi pop, still headlining large concerts and festival shows.
