The Weeknd adds record-breaking 40-foot Sorayama robot statue to his European stadium shows

Billboard reports that the European leg of the After Hours Til Dawn tour now features a 40-foot robot statue by Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama, billed as the tallest fine art piece ever commissioned for a concert. The new figure doubles the height of the tour's previous 20-foot statue and continues a collaboration with Sorayama that dates back to 2021.

After Hours Til Dawn will end with an 11-show Asian leg kicking off Sept. 20 in Tokyo

Billboard reports The Weeknd has announced the final leg of his After Hours Til Dawn stadium tour: 11 shows across Asia starting September 20 at Tokyo's Belluna Dome and closing November 4 in Kuala Lumpur, with stops in Jakarta, Singapore, Seoul, Bangkok and Hong Kong. The tour has already surpassed $1 billion in grosses and 7.5 million tickets across 153 shows, the most ever by a male solo artist.
