Billboard reports Drake is the first artist ever to hold the Billboard 200's top three spots at once, with ICEMAN debuting at No. 1 on 463,000 units, HABIBTI at No. 2 (114,000) and MAID OF HONOUR at No. 3 (110,000). ICEMAN is his 15th No. 1 album, passing Jay-Z among solo men and tying Taylor Swift for the most among soloists.

Billboard reports ICEMAN earned 133,000 equivalent album units in its fourth frame, making it the first album to spend its first four weeks at No. 1 since Taylor Swift's The Life of a Showgirl and only the second R&B/hip-hop title to do so after Travis Scott's Utopia. Only three of Drake's fifteen chart-toppers have logged more weeks on top.

Billboard Canada reports the album became Rodrigo's third consecutive No. 1 on the Canadian Albums chart dated June 27, ending the four-week run of Drake's Iceman at the top. All 13 tracks charted on the Canadian Hot 100, with "Stupid Song" debuting at No. 2 and Rodrigo becoming the sixth artist with at least 13 songs simultaneously in the top 30.

In its review, Variety's Peter A. Berry describes ICEMAN as 'a dexterous if bloated project' and one of Drake's most honest recent efforts, arguing the Kendrick Lamar battle 'might have actually been a defibrillator' that reignited his creative fire.

E! News reports that Drake released three albums — Iceman, Maid of Honour, and Habibti — on May 15, with lyrics fans read as shots at Kendrick Lamar, including lines questioning his streaming numbers and his standing in his hometown. Kendrick has not publicly responded to the 43-song salvo.
