Bismah Maroof is a retired Pakistani cricketer and former captain of the national women's team, remembered as one of the country's greatest batters. A left-handed top-order batter, she holds Pakistan's records for most runs in both women's ODIs and T20Is and became a prominent advocate for working mothers in sport after returning to lead the side at the 2022 World Cup. She retired from all cricket in April 2024 after a 17-year international career.
