Amy Search, born Suhaimi bin Abdul Rahman, is the founder and lead vocalist of the pioneering Malaysian rock band Search, one of the most successful acts in the country's music history. Widely regarded as a godfather of the local rock scene, he fronted era-defining 1980s and 1990s hits before launching a prolific solo career with albums such as Magic. He was conferred the title Datuk in 2022 and remains an active fixture of Malaysian showbiz.
