Asia Argento boards Gia Carangi documentary as executive producer

The Hollywood Reporter reported that Asia Argento has signed on as executive producer of Gia - The Shadow of Beauty, the debut documentary feature by director Rosita Larocca about late American supermodel Gia Carangi. The U.S.-Italy project was presented at the Cannes market and frames Carangi as a young woman navigating fame in 1980s New York.
