Akshay Kumar's 2026 average tops Rs 150 crore in a box-office comeback

Bollywood Hungama reported that Kumar's per-film box-office average has climbed to about Rs 149.5 crore across his 2026 releases, sharply up from Rs 40.55 crore in 2024. The trade outlet projected that 2026 could become his highest-grossing year since 2019, framing the turnaround as a sustained recovery.
