Michele Civetta is an Italian-American film director, writer and multimedia artist who founded the production company Quintessence Films. An Emmy-nominated director of music videos and commercials, he made his feature debut with the 2020 thriller "Agony" and followed it with the crime drama "The Gateway" (2021). He was married to Italian actress Asia Argento from 2008 to 2013.
