Ayo Edebiri is an Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning actress, comedian, and writer from Boston who broke out as chef Sydney Adamu on FX's The Bear. She voices Missy on Big Mouth and Envy in Inside Out 2, starred in Bottoms and Theater Camp, and directed The Bear episode "Napkins." In 2026 she made an acclaimed Broadway debut opposite Don Cheadle in Proof while The Bear served its final season.
