Anthony Bourdain is the American chef and author who rose to fame with the 2000 memoir Kitchen Confidential, which exposed the gritty side of restaurant kitchens. He went on to host globe-trotting food and travel series, including No Reservations on the Travel Channel and CNN's Emmy-winning Parts Unknown. Bourdain died in June 2018 at age 61 while filming Parts Unknown in France.
