Aïssa Mandi retires from international football as Algeria's most-capped player
Aïssa Mandi announced his retirement from the Algeria national team in a video message to supporters, ending a career of more than a decade with the Fennecs, OneFootball reported. The 34-year-old defender bows out as Algeria's most-capped player with 122 appearances and eight goals. His decision followed Algeria's 2-0 round-of-32 defeat by Switzerland at the 2026 World Cup.
