Abida Parveen is a Pakistani singer, composer and musician widely regarded as one of the world's foremost performers of Sufi music, celebrated for her renditions of ghazals, kafis and qawwali. Rooted in the Sindhi Sufi tradition and trained by her father, she has performed across the globe and reached wider audiences through Coke Studio Pakistan. She holds several of Pakistan's highest civilian honours, including the Nishan-e-Imtiaz.
