Marvel casts Ryan Gosling as Ghost Rider at Comic-Con, with a film slated for 2028

Rolling Stone reports that Marvel president Kevin Feige announced Gosling's casting during the studio's San Diego Comic-Con panel, with Gosling calling Ghost Rider 'a character I've wanted to play for a long time.' The Guardian adds that Gosling pursued the role for years and pitched Feige his own take on the flaming-skulled stunt rider, with Deadpool & Wolverine's Shawn Levy attached to direct.
