Fakhar Zaman ruled out of Pakistan's ODI series against Australia with injury

The ICC reported on 20 May 2026 that openers Fakhar Zaman and Saim Ayub were ruled out of Pakistan's three-match ODI series against Australia beginning 30 May. Both players were said to be recovering from injuries and advised to continue their rehabilitation programmes, having last featured at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026.
