Barbie sequel stalls as salary talks with Robbie, Gosling and Gerwig hit an impasse
The Guardian reports that Warner Bros could lose rights to a Barbie sequel if deals with stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling and director Greta Gerwig are not agreed by December. Variety, citing New York Times reporting, says Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav has balked at richer profit-participation deals for the returning stars. The first film grossed more than $1.4 billion and earned eight Oscar nominations.
