Aima Baig readies debut album 'Guriya' as a tribute to her late mother
Aima Baig has revealed that her debut solo album 'Guriya' is a tribute to her mother, who died in 2017, describing the making of it as a journey through grief, healing and self-discovery. Speaking to Minute Mirror and in an interview with Hello! Pakistan, she said the record features collaborators including Atif Aslam and Asim Azhar and marks a personal reset, adding that she feels as though she has "just started living."
