Alex Yoong is a Malaysian racing driver and motorsport broadcaster, best known as the first and only Malaysian to compete in Formula One, racing for Minardi in 2001 and 2002. Beyond F1 he has won titles in the Audi R8 LMS Cup and raced in A1 Grand Prix and at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Today he works as a commentator and mentor, championing the development of young Malaysian racing talent.
