Alex Yoong urges affordable, sustainable F1 return as Sepang eyes 2026 calendar comeback
As Formula One weighs a return to the Sepang International Circuit in October, Malaysia's only F1 driver Alex Yoong told The Star that any comeback should be done at a reasonable cost so ticket prices stay affordable and more Malaysians can watch live. In comments carried by Malay Mail, Yoong said he hoped a Sepang race would reignite support for the entire local motorsport ecosystem, from sim racing and karting through to professional championships.
